It’s my intern Nia’s last full week! She got me the world’s best mug as a reverse going-away present.
Handpainted “bootleg” movie posters from Ghana. White people, Asian people? they all look the same to me. But, most importantly, that Cujo.

I would like to take this opportunity to state clearly that the military industrial complex is real, collective society is a joke, and we’re only sustained as a culture by our shared fear. Don’t get upset. Have you been paying attention for the past 150 years? This isn’t a radical thing to think.
I’m thinking about a Badlands / Straw Dogs double feature, or at least some kind of comparative essay. The way they both travel back in time, in a way; enter the proverbial wilderness of human nature, in a way. The way male aggression makes love possession and women spectators to their own lives. The way two against many turns out to be one against himself. The way claustrophobia permeates both films like a thick smoke. The way we corner ourselves by acting upon others. The way we can’t find a way to live with ourselves when we realize that there are no more enemies.
A day’s dick pics.
